Players take turns adding one edge between two neighbouring dots.
Closing the fourth side of a box hands it to whoever drew that edge.
Completing a box grants another turn, so chains let you sweep several at once.
When every edge is drawn, the side with more boxes wins.
Edge-claiming duel
Dots Boxes starts from a bare grid of dots in this classic head-to-head puzzle. The AI plays a deterministic policy, so the focus is reading safe edges that avoid handing over a third side and the attacking chains that sweep boxes back. There are no timers or lives.
